Mentor Directed Jazz Combos

CSUN jazz maintains a robust small group program consisting of 10-12 combos every semester. Each combo works weekly with an assigned professional jazz mentor to develop ensemble sound via standard jazz repertoire, workshopping original compositions, and organizing set lists for performances both on and off campus. Recent mentors include Nicole McCabe, Joshua White, and Anthony Fung.
