Alumni & Giving

The CSUN Music Department has a long history of graduating students who would later become world renowned performers, educators, composers, conductors, music therapists and music industry professionals. We are proud that our alumni:

• are members in all the major orchestras of Los Angeles: Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Opera, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, scoring orchestras at Warner Bros., Twentieth Century Fox, Sony Studios MGM and many others
• have continued their studies at Juilliard School, New England Conservatory, Cleveland Institute of Music and many other schools
• have become music business executives at major production companies 

Contributions to the program directly support the needs of our students. As an incredibly diverse program, we look for our alumni to help us dream big for the future. The music department is occasionally in need of donations for large scale items like pianos or technology in order to keep on pace with other reputable institutions. (At this time, we don't have space for library donations of recordings or sheet music.)
