Former ELPS Student Trimaine Davis named honorary NFL Super Bowl Captain

Trimaine Davis, a longtime educator in Los Angeles, has been named one of the three honorary captains for upcoming Super Bowl LV this Sunday February 7th, 2021 in Tampa, Florida. Trimaine has been a tireless advocate for Black students with his prior involvement in CSUN’s Black Male Initiative and his current work as a Retention Coordinator with the VIPS Scholars program at UCLA. StrengthUnited will host our second Financial Literacy Course, sponsored by MoneyW!se, and taught by the San Diego Financial Literacy Center. This course will be facilitated in Spanish, taking place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons beginning on Thursday, March 4, and ending on April 8.
