The Student Recreation Center is a 138,000 square foot facility for exercise and leisure activity that promotes lifelong health and wellness. Group Exercise
The Student Recreation Center of the University Student Union is proud to offer the CSUN community a full menu of FREE fitness and mindfulness Group Exercise (GX) classes led by qualified and dynamic instructors including HIIT, Bodyweight training, ZUMBA® fitness, Yoga and more!
Aquatics
Aquatics oversees operations for the SRC Rec and Plaza pools. It also offers a number of programs including swim lessons for all ages and skill levels, Red Cross Certification Courses and special poolside events.
Boxing Training Program
Knock out your fitness goals with the Boxing Training Program! Located in the SRC’s Determination Studio, this program is designed to assist all SRC members who are interested in participating in boxing as an alternative workout.
Intramural Sports
All CSUN students, staff and faculty may participate in the Intramural Sports Program. The program offers a variety of team and individual sports at various levels of competition.
Games Room
When you need affordable entertainment, check out the Games Room at the USU, located across from the Student Recreation Center front entrance. Come challenge your friends to billiards and the latest PC and console games on the market.
Services
The SRC offers a variety of services, including personal training and private instruction, American Red Cross CPR/AED /First Aid Training, equipment rentals and more.
