Preserve and present revolving exhibitions for the world to see.

Since the early 1970’s, the CSUN Art Galleries have stimulated the imagination, curiosity and inquiry of more than 30,000 annual visitors from Southern California and around the globe. Featuring a revolving exhibition program, the CSUN Art Galleries reflect the diversity of the art world and its many audiences. Exhibitions range from the “The Great Wall of Los Angeles: Judith F. Baca's Experimentation in Collaboration and Concrete,” a distinguished CSUN alumnus, to the pop culture phenomenon of “Comic Book Apocalypse: The Graphic World of Jack Kirby," to “Kings of Speed: Ascot Raceway 1957-1990," which showcased the history of a storied Southern California automobile racetrack; the CSUN Art Galleries have something to inspire a diverse range of art-related interests.

As part of the San Fernando Valley community, the CSUN Art Galleries offer educational lectures and presentations to visitors through its Arts Council Volunteer program. Tours provide behind-the-scenes information about exhibitions for K-14 students, community groups, campus classes, and international visitors. In addition, an annual High School Invitational features works made by students and art teachers from more than 30 San Fernando high schools for over 20 years.
