University Counseling Services

Welcome Matadors! University Counseling Services (UCS) is a mental health center for students enrolled at California State University, Northridge (CSUN).

Klotz Student Health Center

The Klotz Student Health Center welcomes you with services available from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Student Recreational Center (SRC)

The Student Recreation Center is a 138,000 square foot facility for exercise and leisure activity that promotes lifelong health and wellness.

YOU@CSUN is a comprehensive online well-being platform intended to enhance student mental health, physical wellness, happiness, and academic success, and to connect students to information, campus resources, peers, and opportunities. It looks at students holistically and is intended to provide students access to a wealth of content and campus resources across 3 domains:

  • Succeed: academics, career path, learning style, and leadership
  • Thrive: personal well-being including physical and mental health
  • Matter: purpose, community, and social connections

Campus Care Advocates are certified sexual assault counselors who are available to provide support services to students, faculty, and staff, who are survivors of sexual assault. Campus Care Advocates also assist those who have been affected by stalking, domestic violence, or dating violence by linking them to appropriate resources.

CSUN is proud to provide FREE menstrual products in select restrooms across campus in recognition of CA Assembly Bill 367, the Menstrual Equity for All Act of 2021 and CSUN Associated Students Senate Bill 2021-22-002. Menstrual equity involves de-stigmatizing periods and addressing menstruating individuals' lack of access to proper hygiene products.
