Housing Stability

The Basic Needs team is here to assist CSUN students in need of Emergency Housing support. A housing crisis could include but is not limited to living in an unsafe space, living in a public or private place not intended for living, sleeping in a car, and/ or couch surfing. Resources are listed here for emergency housing as well as information to minimize housing challenges in the future, including guidance if you are looking for support navigating the off-campus rental market.

Temporary Emergency Housing (T.E.H.) at CSUN

TEH provides unhoused students with temporary housing for up to 20 days on campus while working to secure a long-term resolution.

These funds provide one-time support resources for emergency rental assistance or related housing expense to students at risk of homelessness otherwise.

RRH, in partnership with Jovenes, Inc., offers temporary and long-term housing and support services to students experiencing housing instability.
