Housing Stability
The Basic Needs team is here to assist CSUN students in need of Emergency Housing support. A housing crisis could include but is not limited to living in an unsafe space, living in a public or private place not intended for living, sleeping in a car, and/ or couch surfing. Resources are listed here for emergency housing as well as information to minimize housing challenges in the future, including guidance if you are looking for support navigating the off-campus rental market.
Off-Campus Housing Navigation
Finding local housing options is an overwhelming task for first-time and seasoned renters alike. Learn about resources available for CSUN students looking for off-campus housing.
Temporary Emergency Housing (T.E.H.) at CSUN
TEH provides unhoused students with temporary housing for up to 20 days on campus while working to secure a long-term resolution.
Emergency Housing Grants
These funds provide one-time support resources for emergency rental assistance or related housing expense to students at risk of homelessness otherwise.
College-Focused Rapid Rehousing Program
RRH, in partnership with Jovenes, Inc., offers temporary and long-term housing and support services to students experiencing housing instability.
