PPM Lock & Key - Lock Types

PPM is currently in the process of upgrading our door access credentials to enhance campus security and improve our business processes, which we believe will lead to cost savings. As part of this initiative, door locks that accommodate radio frequency access cards (including proximity style and your CSUN MataCard) will no longer support PIN codes and magnetic stripe cards.

We understand that many of our valued customers still employ legacy locks that do not support this latest generation of access cards. To address this, PPM will continue to support magnetic stripe cards and PIN codes specifically for these legacy locks as shown below.
