The excitement continues to build as the days pass and oh, are they passing quickly! Submissions for the General Call for Presentations are now closed and proposals are being reviewed. We received a striking number of submissions and we can report that 2024 has incredible content in store!

We are also excited to announce that CSUNATC TV will return with more livestreamed content and thought-provoking fireside chats! Look back at the monthly 2023 Broadcast Studio playlist in anticipation of what we will have for you in 2024!

IN THE NEWS: SIGNIFICANT UPDATES TO SECTION 504

Proposed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), there has been a significant update to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the first amendment for several decades. The proposed rule would update provisions to bolster disability protections and provide nondiscriminatory health care and social services to disabled people, which are not explicitly stated in the current version of Section 504.

HHS has additionally released a Fact Sheet that summarizes the proposed rule and clarifies important information. Though this update is long overdue, we applaud the forward movement in society toward inclusion and access for all!
