37th Annual CSUN Assistive Technology Conference Has Concluded

September 2021

TOMORROW’S THE DAY

The Call for General Presentations starts tomorrow and we look forward to receiving high-quality submissions and on a wide variety of topics.  Want more details?  Make sure to visit our Call for Presentations Overview to start prepping your submission.

Don’t forget, the Conference is also currently accepting submissions for pre-conference workshops that provide in-depth content and training for attendees.  The deadline to submit Pre-Conference Workshop Proposals is Tuesday, September 28.

JOURNAL CALL DATES EXTENDED

As a result of an outage on campus affecting our websites, we have extended the Journal Call for Papers by one week, now closing Tuesday, September 14 at 3:00 PM PDT.  Take advantage of this extra time and submit before it is too late!

CALL FOR REVIEWERS

We depend on a group of talented professionals to review all of the submissions. These reviews help us determine which submissions to accept for our General Sessions.  We are always looking for highly qualified and passionate colleagues in the accessibility and disability community.  We want to add new people to our esteemed group of reviewers before the end of the Call for Presentations on September 28.  If you want to be considered to serve on the review panel, please complete the interest form.

DID YOU KNOW?

Each year the CSUN AT Conference presents two awards at the Keynote Address.  The Dr. Arthur I. Karshmer Award for Assistive Technology Research is awarded to the best submission to the Journal Track.  So, be sure to submit your paper to be considered.

The Strache Leadership Award acknowledges a leader in the field of disability and technology, who actively shines when it comes to mentoring and educating students.  If you know a worthy candidate, we are currently accepting nominations.  Visit the Strache Award Nomination page to submit before October 20.
