Wendy Murawski Shines Through Her Publications

Dr. Wendy Murawski has recently added to her extensive list of publications with a new textbook on Special Education Law and Policy, as well as a chapter called “What Really Works with Exceptional Learners in Distance Learning. Wendy Murawki and Jack Bagwell Publish in JSARD

Dr. Wendy Murawski and Dr. Jack Bagwell have both had articles accepted into JSARD. This special issue is the first part of a two-part series celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Journal of School Administration Research and Development (JSARD). It is composed of nine short essays that address multiple elements of school leadership during the global pandemic. Congratulations, Wendy and Jack!

CTL continues to provide Professional Development support to our community

During these unusual times, the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) continues to support a wide variety of schools and programs to address their identified needs. Birmingham Community Charter, Roosevelt, and CHAMPS Arts high schools have all extended their contracts for the 2020/2021 academic year. Also, SIMPACT is now housed within the CTL. SIMPACT (www.csun.edu/simpact) is an award-winning mixed-reality simulation system designed to provide educators with a highly realistic virtual platform to practice skills around social work, counseling, teaching, conflict resolution, social-emotional learning and many other interpersonal interactions.
