A report from InsideHigherEd explored a study conducted by the Association of College and University Educators. This study involved over 570 members from 10 institutions who participated in a professional development course on effective teaching practices. CSUN Men’s Volleyball Sweeps Big West Awards, Ranked 16th in AVCA/NVA Top-20 Poll

CSUN men's volleyball swept the Big West weekly awards, with Kyle Hobus named Offensive Player of the Week, Donovan Constable as Defensive Player of the Week, and Jalen Phillips as Freshman of the Week after splitting a series at No. 4-ranked Stanford. This is the first time CSUN has swept the three Big West men's volleyball weekly awards. Head coach Theo Edwards attributed the success to the team's dedication to training and the program's direction. -- BVM Sports

Soup’r Bowl Food Drive for CSUN Food Pantry: The Community Concerns Committee at First Presbyterian Church of Granada Hills holds a non-perishable food drive to help stock the food pantry at Cal State University, Northridge, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Feb. 10 and also, 8:30-11 a.m. Feb. 11. The pantry benefits students who do not have much income for food while school is in session (CSUN Food Pantry, bit.ly/3ch6IRl). Current needs: canned and dry packaged goods, and also, hygiene/personal care products may be donated. No glass containers or expired dates.
