Heights Chamber Orchestra Concert

Eric Charnofsky, piano, enjoys a multi-faceted career as a pianist, composer, lecturer, conductor, and narrator. As a collaborative pianist, he has performed throughout North America with members of major American orchestras. A graduate of The Juilliard School where he majored in piano accompanying, Mr. Charnofsky also holds degrees in solo piano performance and composition from California State University, Northridge. Mr. Charnofsky has been a pre-concert lecturer for the Cleveland Orchestra, an Associate Faculty member at the Music Academy of the West, rehearsal pianist for Lyric Opera Cleveland, convention accompanist for the National Flute Association, music director and pianist for musical theater productions in Los Angeles, and is featured on recordings on the Capstone, Albany, and Crystal labels. He is active in Musical Arts administration, serving on boards for the Cleveland Chamber Music Society and Chamber Music Society of Ohio, and is Assistant Director for the annual She Scores festival. CSUN Baseball Continues Dominance with Simons’ Walk-Off Homer

Jakob Simons hit a walk-off three-run homer with two outs in the ninth to lead CSUN to a 6-4 win over Nevada at Matador Field. CSUN extended its winning streak to six games, with Ben Griffin collecting two hits and two RBI in the win, and Thomas Bainton working seven innings and allowing two runs on the mound. -- BVM Sports

CSUN Drops Home Decision to UC Irvine

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—CSUN Men’s Basketball fell to first-place UC Irvine 89-64 on Thursday evening at Premier America Credit Union Arena. Dionte Bostick led CSUN in scoring with 20 points o 8-of-12 shooting while Gianni Hunt added 17 points and three assists. The Anteaters would take control at the start, building an early double-digit lead and never look back in the contest. -- BVM Sports
