David Aks, cellist, was on the music faculty at CSUN for 30 years where he conducted the CSUN Symphony and the CSUN Opera. Ten years ago David discovered the world of Celtic music and hasn’t looked back since. He can often be spotted jamming at various pubs and festivals around California. David attended Indiana University and Oberlin College, where he received degrees in cello and conducting.
