Sale Finishes in the Top 10, CSUN Places Sixth at Big West Championship

Golfstat Final Results LA QUINTA, Calif. - The CSUN men's golf team matched its low round of the championship for the second straight day with a round of 1-under 287 but remained in sixth place at the conclusion of the 2024 Big West Men's Golf Championship Tuesday at La Quinta Country Club. After posting the second-lowest team round of the day on Monday, the Matadors were among the low teams again on Tuesday but were not able to gain any ground in the team competition. -- BVM Sports

Hobus, Constable Named to 2024 AVCA National Collegiate Men’s All-America Teams

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - For the ninth time in program history, CSUN men's volleyball had multiple student-athletes named All-American as senior Kyle Hobus and junior Donovan Constable were both named to the 2024 AVCA National Collegiate Men's All-America Teams on Monday. Both Matadors are first-time All-Americans and become the first CSUN players to earn national recognition since Daniel Wetter was named for the second time following the 2022 season. -- BVM Sports

CSUN Takes the Series Against Cal State Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.— CSUN split a doubleheader against Cal State Bakersfield on Saturday at the Roadrunner Softball Complex. The Roadrunners took game one by a final score of 4-3. The Matadors bounced back to take the second game by a final score of 13-3 victory. Jerzie Liana and Lulu Sanchez both hit a home run in game two. -- BVM Sports

Sanchez Earns Second Big West Freshman of the Week Nod

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---CSUN Softball's Lulu Sanchez received her second Big West Freshman of the Week award on Monday, the league office announced. Sanchez hit at a .364 clip in this past weekend's Big West series against UC Riverside. Sanchez produced hits in all three games of the UC Riverside series, finishing with four total while she had two runs batted in. -- BVM Sports

CAMRYN ROGERS, ROWAN HAMILTON AND CAISA-MARIE LINDFORS HELP CAL RULE THE RING AT MT. SAC RELAYS

Rowan Hamilton, also a Canadian standout and the NAIA all-time competitor during his career at University of British Columbia before transferring to Cal for his final year of collegiate eligibility, rallied to win the men’s invitational elite hammer section with a sixth-round performance of 253-1 (77.16m) to overtake Cal State Northridge’s Trey Knight and his personal-best 252-7 (76.99m). -- Runner Space
