An Open Call for All CSUN Students “Espress” Your Creativity at the USU’s “Espressions”

The University Student Union invites all CSUN students to share their own creativity and support the creativity of others in the welcoming setting of “Espressions.” Starting Wednesday, Feb. 17 and continuing every third Wednesday of the month in the Northridge Center at the USU, all students are invited to come experience the creative performances of their fellow Matadors and encouraged to showcase their own. The Student Recreation Center (SRC) located at the University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN students, faculty and staff to sign-up for its exciting and highly effective exercise program, the “Spring 2016 Instructional Series.” Starting Monday, Feb. 8, this 5-week program will teach SRC members how to properly execute movements on specialized equipment while enhancing overall health and wellness.  Read more

“CSUNopoly: Financial Literacy Edition” at the USU to Help Students Learn to Better Manage Money

The University Student Union (USU) is excited to present the annual return of “CSUNopoly: Financial Literacy Edition” in cooperation with the CSUN Financial Aid office. All students are encouraged to attend on Wednesday, Feb. 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Plaza del Sol located at the USU.  This free event aims to educate students on topics including financial aid, money management, loans, finances after college and much more. It will also offer free food from Dog Gone It and a chance to win an iPad Mini 2. Read more

“Mix N’ Mingle” at the Pride Center is All About Creating New Friendships for the New Year

The Pride Center at the University Student Union (USU) invites  CSUN students to attend its “Mix N’ Mingle” event on Thursday, Feb. 4 at 6p.m. to kick off the spring semester and expand their comfort zone by making new connections among the LGBTQ community and its allies. This event is completely free and an easy way to give students the chance to create friendships at CSUN. Read more
