Channel Your Inner Creativity at the University Student Union’s “All That Art: New York’s Finest” Interactive Event

February 23, 2018

Northridge — The University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN students to unleash their artistic side with their fellow Matadors at “All That Art: New York’s Finest”! On Thursday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the Plaza del Sol at the USU, join in on the fun by visiting the four themed areas of this outdoor interactive event, representing four of the famous boroughs of New York City – Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. Each featured borough will offer different craft activities for Matadors to take part in. Delicious food, refreshments and live entertainment will also be provided along with a chance to enter a raffle for great prizes – and it’s all FREE for CSUN students!

“At the USU, we’re excited to bring back the popular ‘All That Art’ event with our best theme yet,” said Kelsey Almendral, USU Student Events Assistant. “It’s important to take a break from classes and relax by letting your inner artist shine through. Whether you’re the next Picasso or you like to doodle during class, we have something fun and awesome for you here!”

At “All That Art: New York’s Finest”, students can check out a range of exciting artistic pursuits. From making lava lamps to vinyl record splatter art, there are fun activities to take part in at every borough!  Matadors can also enjoy a tasty menu of hot dogs, pretzels, ice cream and vegetarian options while listening to catchy beats spun by DJ Complex Lex. All attendees who visit three boroughs will receive free food, while those who visit four boroughs will get free food and be entered into the raffle to win cool prizes including a record player, art supplies, and a $25 MataMoney card.

Embrace your creativity at USU’s “All That Art: New York’s Finest”! For more information about this event and the University Student Union, please visit csun.edu/usu.
