Enjoy an Interactive Dinner and Show at “Matador Horror Story: Murder Mystery” in the University Student Union

October 10, 2018

Northridge—The University Student Union (USU) invites all Matadors to journey to the dark past of colonial America for an evening of mystery, intrigue, and more at “Matador Horror Story: Murder Mystery” in the Northridge Center of the University Student Union. On Friday, Oct. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m., CSUN students can dine alongside the supernatural as they work together to uncover the killer amongst them at this immersive dinner theatre experience.

“Students tend to look forward to our annual ‘Murder Mystery’ dinner and show,”said Xiomara Carranza, USU Events Supervisor. “They find that it’s a unique, interactive way to get into the spirit of the Halloween season right here on CSUN’s campus!"

Student Event Lead Cheng Cox drew inspiration for this year’s event from the popular American Horror Story television show. Elements from the award-winning third season of the anthology series—such as disembodied heads in jars and the ominous presence of black crows—will be incorporated into both the décor and the evening’s murderous plotline. Attendees will also be treated to a delicious dinner buffet included in the price of admission.

“Matador Horror Story: Murder Mystery” tickets are on sale at the A.S. Ticket Office in the University Student Union for just $5. CSUN students are encouraged to purchase their tickets soon for the opportunity to consider the clues and uncover the killer at this unforgettable night of fright!

CSUN students may purchase up to two tickets and bring one guest to the event. For more information on “Matador Horror Story: Murder Mystery” and the University Student Union, please visit www.csun.edu/usu.
