Come “Create the Future of Your University Student Union” at the Student Open House in the USU Grand Salon

April 4, 2018

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Northridge — The University Student Union (USU) invites all Matadors to participate in its special event, Student Open House: Create the Future of Your University Student Union. This is an opportunity for CSUN students to interact with the architects from LPA, the firm that designed the Student Recreation Center. On Thursday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Grand Salon at the USU, the architectural team wants you to come to the open house and let them know what you think about the future of the University Student Union.

“The exciting future of the USU is intended to benefit everyone at CSUN,” said Jeremy Hamlett, Operations and Facilities Planning Manager. “We’re having this ‘Student Open House’ because we want student input on this project. Their ideas and opinions are very important to us — because we’re here to optimize the university experience for every Matador.”

All CSUN students in attendance will be able to join in on fun interactive activities featuring inspirational imagery, thought starters, social sharing and conversations with the architects. The information gathered from the Student Open House will help determine USU enhancements to campus life, in addition to informing and inspiring the project design plans.

All students are encouraged to come to the Student Open House, speak their mind and help create an even better campus life at CSUN. For more information on the University Student Union, please visit www.csun.edu/usu.
