WHAT:
The University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN students to get an inside look at the lives of self-made social media influencers in an all-new speaker series, “The Story Behind the Feed”. On a select day each month, you will be able to participate in a panel discussion, Q&A, and a meet and greet with the influencers who have created a career path for themselves through beauty, wellness and fitness, and YouTube. You will also be able to enjoy a photo booth, cool giveaways, FREE food and refreshments!

This new series will give all CSUN students the chance to hear from self-made individuals and be inspired to tap into their own potential.
BACKGROUND:
“The Story Behind the Feed” speaker series is a new program that the University Student Union is introducing this Spring 2019 semester. With the rise of self-made social media influencers, students are increasingly drawn to the unique experiences that have allowed these individuals to embrace their identities and share their stories with the world online. This speaker series will allow influencers of various interests to share their personal stories and encourage students to follow their passions.
