The University Student Union invites all Matadors to unite for Moving Forward Together: Steps towards Unlearning Colonial Ideologies of Power — an opportunity to discuss the widespread effects of colonization, the importance of decolonization, and the experience of diaspora community. We’ll use this space to honor and uplift indigenous sovereignty while unlearning harmful colonial ideologies and moving towards an anti-racism framework. This proactive virtual gathering is the perfect place to collectively acknowledge our power and environment while building a deeper sense of community.
