The University Student Union invites you to engage in an important discussion during Essential Talks: A Conversation with Dr. Cornel West! Join us for the first installment of the Multicultural Speaker Series this semester with a wonderful opportunity to continue celebrating Black History Month while also engaging in crucial conversations surrounding the Black community. Dr. West, an American philosopher, political activist, social critic and author, will discuss racial battle fatigue and how to support students’ experiences. You’ll also learn how to care for yourself as a student of color or grow in your journey to become an ally.
