Let’s Enjoy Some Fitness Fun in the Spring Sun!

Register now through March 14

Come embrace the warm spring weather by getting outdoors and moving your body during Fitness Spring Fever from the Student Recreation Center (SRC) of the University Student Union. This 6-week fitness challenge is the perfect opportunity to get out into the spring sun and move your body while earning points as you complete your fitness activities. To participate in this fun fitness program, create an account through ChallengeRunner, join the Fitness Spring Fever 2021” program and then download the ChallengeRunner app on iOS or Android! Once the challenge begins, manually track your daily activities to accumulate points for a chance to win some cool prizes. You’re invited to join us. Come experience fitness fun in the spring sun!

Program Details

When the challenge begins, you will accumulate points by manually tracking your fitness activities through the ChallengeRunner app (iOS and Android). There are four different ways to earn points:

  1. Physical Activity: Earn up to 10 points each day when you engage in any moderate to vigorous physical activity of your choice such as walking, running, weight training, etc. 
    Plus earn an extra four points when you exercise outdoors for at least 15 minutes!
  2. SRC & Oasis Virtual Activities: Earn up to six points when you register and attend a virtual fitness or mindfulness class offered through the Student Recreation Center (SRC) or Oasis Wellness Center (OWC).

You can also boost your point earning potential and be entered into a raffle when you do the following:

  1. Fitness & Nutrition Booster: Earn up to 50 points when you register and attend an eligible activity offered through the SRC or Oasis. 
    Plus, you will be entered into a raffle to win a set of dumbbells or a kettlebell. One raffle entry per activity.
  2. Consistency Booster: Earn up to 25 points when you exercise consistently. The more days you track your physical activity, the more points you can earn each week. 
    Plus, be entered into a raffle to win a $20 gift card of your choice when you track a minimum of 3 days. One raffle entry per week.
  3. Spread the Word Booster: Earn 10 points per each referral that registers for Fitness Spring Fever by Feb. 14. 
    Plus, you will be entered into a raffle to win a $10 gift card of your choice! One raffle entry per referral.

Minimum Participation and Prize Eligibility

Participants will be entered into a raffle drawing based on the level reached by the end of the challenge period. A minimum of 108 points must be earned before being entered into any raffle. 

  • Level 1: 108 points
    • $25 Gift Card (2 Winners)
  • Level 2: 144 points
    • $50 Gift Card (2 Winners)
  • Level 3: 192 points
    • $75 Gift Card (1 Winner)

Additionally, the person with the most points earned at the end of the program will receive a Get Fit Bundle that includes: Five Private Training Lessons with a certified trainer/instructor, a set of dumbbells, mini band, exercise mat and foam roller.

Winners will be randomly selected by Thursday, March 25 and must claim their prize by responding to the respective email no later than Thursday, April 1. If a winner does not claim their prize by the deadline, a new winner will be drawn.
