The application for the CSU emergency Grant has expired. At this time no additional applications are being accepted.
The CSU has provided emergency grant funding designed to provide aid to eligible students who are struggling with a personal crisis or an emergency situation. Qualified students may receive assistance in the form of single, one-time awards. Emergency funding is not intended to provide ongoing relief for recurring expenses, and these awards are not loans that students are expected to repay. The amount of the award will range in response to the needs of the students and the availability of funding, however the maximum award is $1,100. Students may only receive one type of emergency grant in the 2021-22 academic year.
This assistance is only available to undergraduate or Credential student students enrolled in at least 6 units and who meet the criteria below:
Currently receiving a Pell Grant award; AND
Earned a grade point average of at least 2.0 in one of previous three semesters
OR
Have a 2021-22 California Dream Act application (CADAA) on file; AND
Have an approved AB540 waiver on file with Admissions & Records; AND
Have an EFC between 0-5846; AND
Earned a grade point average of at least 2.0 in one of previous three semesters
All grant decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
