College of Education Receives New Eisner Foundation Grant

We are thrilled to share the good news that the Eisner Foundation board has approved a general operating grant in the amount of $400,000 over two years to CSUN for the Michael D. Eisner College of Education. This is a renewal of the 2-year support we received from the Eisner Foundation which ended in December, 2021. This funding is especially welcomed with the significant increase in student enrollment in our college credential programs as we work to meet the teacher shortage and diversify the teacher and other school-based workforce while dealing with budget cuts with the pandemic. Thank you very much to the Eisner Foundation for their continued support, and thanks to all of our college family who helped with this process. Read more

The Office of Special Education Programs (U.S. Department of Education) has recently approved a continuation award to CSUN for the project entitled, “The Bridge Project: Bringing Early Childhood Special Educators and Behavior Interventionists Together Through Interdisciplinary Evidence Based Preparation to Serve Young Children with High-Intensity Needs” in the amount of $193,552 for Year 2020-2021.
