SUN Program

Welcome to our College of Education Self-care Initiative, informally called Self-care for U at Northridge, the SUN Program.

Self-care means taking responsibility for yourself to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle at work and in your personal world through individually determined, proactive activities. You are at your best when you attend to yourself in equal measure to others in day-to-day living!

One option is to vote and engage in positive activism toward making this world a better place. Another is to be mindful of how much news is healthy, finding balance between exposure to this stressor and engaging in well-being activities. As one self-care alternative to election stress, SHERVIN BOLOORIAN (Iran/UK/USA), an award winning natural music artist, sound therapist, celebrated vocalist, and CSUN alum, will be offering a session entitled “Music as Activism” on Monday, 11/2/2020 from 5:30 - 6:30 PM.
