Dr. Souzy Ohanian Named Principal of C. & E. Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School

Prior to Pilibos, Dr. Ohanian served in the classroom as a first-grade lead teacher and sixth and seventh-grade social studies teacher at Vahan & Anoush Chamlian Armenian School, where she planned and scheduled curricula for multiple grade levels. Dr. Ohanian earned a Bachelor of Arts in liberal studies from California State University, Northridge. After serving in the classroom for more than a decade in first-grade instruction, she furthered her academic pursuits and earned her first Master of Fine Arts in K–12 education/teacher education and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She later earned her second Master of Fine Arts in K–12 educational leadership and politics followed by a Doctor of Education in K–12 curriculum and instruction. -- Asbarez

Montana State signs men's basketball coach Danny Sprinkle to four-year extension

A Helena native, Sprinkle has deep coaching ties to Southern California. He started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Cal State Northridge in 2000. Except for a two-year stint as an assistant at Montana State from 2006-08, Sprinkle was an assistant coach at CSUN from 2001-13. From 2013-19, he was an assistant at Cal State Fullerton. The next year, he got the head coaching position back at MSU. -- FOX News Montana

LIGHT IRON WELCOMES CHARLES BUNNAG TO COLORIST TEAM

Previously, Bunnag worked at Company 3, Technicolor and EFilm. Prior to his career as a colorist, he was a matte painter and VFX artist for features and television. A graduate of California State University, Northridge, where he studied art and illustration, Bunnag credits his background in traditional artistic techniques as crucial to his process today. He has also been a speaker at the SXSW Film Festival and has served as an instructor at Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Los Angeles. -- Production Hub

Pianist Milen Kirov Infuses American Jazz with European Classical, Bulgarian Folk Traditions on "Spatium," Set for June 3 Release

Enrolling first in the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (where he received a full scholarship), Kirov later transferred to the more experimentally minded California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), where he studied with David Rosenboom and Vicki Ray, earning a BFA and a Doctor of Musical Arts there as well as a Master’s in composition from Cal State Northridge. -- PRWeb

World Premiere of THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY to Play at the Zephyr Theatre

Writer-performer Larry Davidson was born in Brooklyn. He received a BA in Motion Picture and Television Production from UCLA and an MA in English Literature from CSUN. Following his studies at UCLA, he became a documentary filmmaker. He currently teaches film to high school students. He was a member of Dream Circus Theatre, for whom he served as performer, writer, lighting designer and stage manager, performing at Electric Daisy Carnival, Burning Man, and Lollapalooza. -- Broadway World - Los Angeles
