CSUN’s Sunday Game with Long Beach State Postponed

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---CSUN Baseball's scheduled home Sunday game with Long Beach State has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be rescheduled for Monday at 3 p.m. at Matador Field. The Matadors swept a Friday doubleheader from the Dirtbags to open the series. CSUN came from behind in game one for an 8-7 win before securing a series win with a 10-4 victory in game two. #GoMatadors -- BVM Sports

Belmont U. Lands $58 Million From Nashville Music Executive

Curb is a longtime music executive, songwriter, and producer who founded Sidewalk Records in 1964 when he was a student at what is now California State University at Northridge. Sidewalk merged with MGM Records in 1969, and Curb became president of MGM Records. Sidewalk later became Curb Records, which he continues to lead. -- The Chronicle of Philanthropy
