His Own Way: John Amos (1940-2024)

Amos was an actor who worked for five decades in television and films, including playing the elder Kunta Kinte in the original Roots. He also continued to write his own material, including the one-man play Haley’s Comet. He was married twice, first to artist and equestrian Noel Mickelson and then to actress Lillian Lehman, a professor emerita of theatre and graduate of California State University, Northridge. -- RogerEbert.com

He then met a California acoustician who hired him and became William’s mentor. He has also been certified in computer vision, AI, machine learning, deep learning model generation, introduction to cloud identity, and programming with Python, all of which were granted by PyImageSearch.
