Climate-cleansing beach bash brings droves of activists

Before receiving a collection bucket for the morning, volunteers were given a “safety talk” by Heal the Bay stewards, describing the mission of the day and facilitating conversation about local environmental issues. After the talk, volunteers were signed in and given their equipment by students with California State University Northridge’s Bridge to the Future program. CSUN Men’s Soccer team is set to open their Big West Conference play this week with two home matches. They will face off against Cal State Fullerton on Wednesday and Cal State Bakersfield on Saturday. Cal State Fullerton has had a strong non-conference season with a 6-2-2 record and is unbeaten in their previous seven matches. On the other hand, Cal State Bakersfield, considered underdogs, is surprising everyone with a 4-1-3 record. CSUN has a winning record against both teams and will look to continue their success. CSUN women’s volleyball team to host UC Riverside and UC Davis in four-match homestand

CSUN women’s volleyball team returns home to open a season-long, four-match homestand. They will face the UC Riverside Highlanders on Friday and the UC Davis Aggies on Saturday. CSUN is looking to improve their conference record after falling at Cal State Bakersfield and Hawaii in previous matches. Fans can follow the Matadors online and watch the matches live on ESPN+. UC Riverside has snapped a three-match losing streak and recorded their second-highest hitting percentage of the season.
