Hollywood, writers’ strike ends. But California has already lost 3 billion

“We can say with great pride that this agreement is exceptional, with significant benefits and protections for all writers,” the union said Writers Guild of America (WGA). So a happy ending seems to have arrived in Hollywood after almost 5 months of strike. The writers’ strike resulted losses to the Californian economy of approximately $3 billion (2.8 billion euros), according to a calculation by California State University Northridge.
