I run, therefore I heal: Seattle’s parks are my haven
My dad and I started a weekend tradition when I was in middle school of running or cycling through the California State University, Northridge, campus. Just the two of us. Afterward, we would stop at the neighborhood liquor store to pick up a cold drink to have at home. My dad typically chose Modelo Especial while I opted for IBC Cream Soda or Mug Root Beer. As I got older we ventured to Marina del Rey and Venice Beach. Running or cycling, just the two of us. -- Seattle Times
