Philippine Madrigal Singers hold one-night only concert in LA on Aug. 19

The SWM Profile, a pilot program, is a collaborative effort among experts in the field of water management and sustainability. The SWM Profile project team, led by the Water Foundation, includes representatives from Environmental Science Associates, The Bay Institute, and Sonoma Ecology Center, as well as technical support from M.Cubed and Mike Antos of California State University, Northridge. How Safe Are We?: Reassessing Faculty Safety on College Campuses
California State University, Northridge; UCLA; Umpqua Community College; Northern Arizona University; Virginia Tech; Northern Illinois University; and Florida State University: a small list of universities and colleges where campus shootings have occurred resulting in student and faculty causalities. The Citizens Crime Commission of New York City states “During the first five school years we examined (2001-02 to 2005-06), there were a total of 40 recorded shooting incidents on or near college campuses…The number of shootings increased 23 percent to 49 incidents during the 2006- 07 to 2010-11 school years. Shootings doubled during the next five school years (2011-12 to 2015-16), increasing to 101 incidents-a 153 percent increase.” --Huffington Post

Advancing Physical Therapy Practice through Curriculum Revision: The Malawi Experience
The following resources were used in guiding the curriculum members to participate in a week-long curriculum planning workshop: WCPT Guideline for Physical Therapist Professional Entry Level Education (16); A Normative Model of Physical Therapist Professional Education (18); the curriculum revision which was led by the Consultant from South Africa in 2013; and, course syllabi from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at California State University, Northridge. As described by the WCPT, the acquisition of broad-based knowledge, critical thinking, self-directed learning and reflection, problem solving, teamwork, and communication is germaine to the practice of physiotherapy (16). -- Frontiers in Public Health
