| Canyonlands is a vast wilderness of rocks and - as the name says canyons. As a result of the constant erosion of the red sandstone bizaare and just plain interesting rock creations arise. Below are the' Monitor' and 'Merrimack'. The two rocks were named for two civil war battleships that sank each other at the battle of Hampton Roads | ||||
