|
|
Professionalism |
The University's proximity to the entertainment industry provides
opportunities to enrich classroom theory with real world professionalism.
Many MA courses feature one-on-one relationships with working
professionals through coursework and internships at studios, networks
and production companies. |
|
Leadership |
The program offers a broad perspective of the arts, crafts, and
aesthetics of cinema-telecommunications, and responsibilities
essential to leadership in the entertainment industry. |
|
Creative Thinking |
Both areas of emphasis, Screenwriting and Critical Studies in
Cinema and Electronic Media, challenge students, encouraging the
development of imagination, creativity, analytic thinking, the
former through the creation of original stories, characters and
dialog, the latter by exposing students to the aspects of creativity
shown by prominent writers, directors, producers, and theorists.
