Financial assistance for the Teenage Drama Workshop (TADW) may be provided by the program itself or another organization or fund. Applications are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.
THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FOR SUMMER 2025 WILL OPEN IN OCTOBER!
There are a limited number of scholarships available and it is recommended you submit your application as soon as registration begins. Scholarships are based upon proof of financial need. Applicants must register and pay the $250 non-refundable deposit before consideration for a scholarship.
If you wish to apply for a scholarship please fill out the application form. Any questions regarding scholarships please email our Financial Analyst Alicia Lawrence at alicia.lawrence@csun.edu.
Each summer, one student is selected to receive the Sam Loeb Spirit of TADW which is full tuition for the following summer at TADW. This award is announced at the Munch n’ Crunch (our final day celebration).
We recognize the importance of ensuring that every student has access to TADW regardless of financial constraints. Therefore we would like to encourage families facing financial hardships to apply. It is crucial to note that our scholarship funding is very limited. While we wish we could support every applicant, we must prioritize those with the most significant financial need. We kindly request that only families facing genuine financial challenges apply for these scholarships. By doing so, we can ensure that the available funds are distributed equitably to those who require assistance the most.
The application process for need-based scholarships remain straightforward, and if further assistance is needed, we have dedicated staff who can assist you with any questions or concerns.
Please be aware of the following:
Students seeking financial aid are not eligible to attend TADW until notification. In order for a determination to be made, the following items must be submitted:
- A completed Financial Aid application.
- A $250 deposit (checks made out to the TEENAGE DRAMA WORKSHOP).
Should an applicant not be approved for financial assistance, full tuition is due by the first day of classes.
