Minimum Wage Increase to $12 as of July 1, 2017

Dear Principal Investigators and Research Administrators:

Effective July 1, 2017 the minimum wage in the City and County of Los Angeles will increase to $12 per hour.

If you have any employees that currently earn less than $12 per hour, please budget accordingly and contact the TUC Human Resources Dept. for making the necessary adjustment.

Additional increases in minimum wage are planned as follows:

-   July 1, 2018:   $13.25

-   July 1, 2019:   $14.25

-   July 1, 2020:   $15.00
