PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY

Description: This course develops the basic themes of physical geography, including
physical landscape; the patterns and processes of climate and weather,
and water resources. Attention is given to the nature of natural
resources and their relation to physical geography. Finally, a component
of the course is given to place-name geography so that students develop
a good sense of where major physical features of the earth are located.
