The Research and Sponsored Programs office (RSP) manages all grants and contracts for sponsored programs for the University. Pre-Award Liaisons assist investigators with funding opportunities, proposal development and submission, and award receipt. Post-Award Liaisons set-up award accounts, assist with fund management, and manage award close-out. RSP is charged with Federal compliance and research integrity, including trainings and review for responsible conduct of research, protection of human subjects, animal care and use, conflicts of interest, export control, and intellectual property. The management of intellectual property includes invention disclosure, patent processing, and material transfer agreements. RSP also has administrative oversight of all campus Centers and Institutes. In addition, RSP manages a number of resources to support the sponsored programs infrastructure.
