Connect Your Skills and Identity with Your Career Aspirations at Queer In Your Career

Northridge — The Pride Center of the University Student Union (USU) invites all LGBTQIA+ CSUN students to enhance your current and future career opportunities while embracing your pride at Queer in Your Career. On select Tuesdays throughout the Fall semester, join us for an insightful look into all the exciting positions available in a range of different industries. Turn your career aspirations and dreams into reality with these informative career events! 

“At the Pride Center, we want to feel empowered and informed when entering their future professional careers,” said Whitney Workman Supervisor, Pride Center. “Queer in Your Career aims to connect students with a variety of out professionals in different industries, so students can be guided to a career path right for them.” 

Learn how your skills and pride can shine through in a variety of fields and connect with working professionals during this networking event. To participate, you can hop on via Zoom (ID: 878 5377 5363 (passcode: pride). On Tuesday, Oct. 5 from 6-7:30p.m., hear about the different career paths in Science and Mathematics. Then, on Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 3-4:30p.m., be informed on the many opportunities available to you through the completion of your Communication Studies degree. On Tuesday, Nov. 2 from 6-7:30p.m., learn more about what it is like to be an out professional in Engineering and Computer Sciences. 

Come engage in these interesting and informative career sessions during Queer in Your Career and see how you can express your identity and realize your full potential in the right career for you.
