Celebrate 10 Years of the Pride Center and Its Notable Achievements with a Special Ceremony and Dinner

Northridge — The Pride Center of the University Student Union (USU) is proud to announce its 10 year anniversary of serving as a valuable resource center for CSUN’s LGBTQIA+ community. To celebrate, on Tuesday, April 11, the CSUN community is invited to a special timeline walkthrough at the Plaza del Sol from 2-4 p.m. and a dinner in the Grand Salon from 5-7 p.m. Experience the highlights the Pride Center has accomplished throughout the decade! 

“We are immensely proud of the Pride Center and the hard work of student activists and Pride Center student employees over the last 10 years creating innovative programs and services to meet the current needs of the CSUN LGBTQIA+ community,” said Whitney Workman, Acting Pride Center Coordinator. “Our 10 Year Anniversary Celebration spotlights our past accomplishments and invites our community to get excited for the future of the Pride Center, and have a night of fun and celebration.” 

Walk through the Pride Center’s timeline including its history and memories that will be on display for the CSUN community in the Plaza del Sol. RSVP on the USU calendar page beginning Monday, Feb, 20 to join the Pride Center for a special dinner ceremony honoring our past, present, and future in the Grand Salon.
