Description:
Students will be given math puzzles, challenges, and new "tricks" and techniques to solve a variety of math problems and be exposed to many math terms and concepts. Students will learn about the life and times of great mathematicians and then explore key concepts, principles, and formulas introduced by the featured master. Students' problem-solving skills will be strengthened as they examine different discoveries in mathematics. The students will use experiments and manipulations to demonstrate the formulas, theories, shortcuts, or alternate approaches suggested by famous mathematicians.
