We are very pleased to welcome Alex Medina back to the Michael D. Eisner College of Education. Alex performed invaluable work for us in previous years as a student worker, and has now rejoined our Dean's Office as a member of the staff.
In his own words:
"Working at the Michael D. Eisner College of Education has been an incredibly fulfilling and personally rewarding journey for me. Having initially served as a student assistant in the Dean's Office while pursuing my Bachelor's degree, my connection to this college runs deep. After a brief hiatus of two years, I recently rejoined the college as the Dean's Office & Grant Support Coordinator, and the feeling of coming back is absolutely amazing.
What makes this experience truly special is my profound alignment with the college's mission. The Michael D. Eisner College of Education is committed to providing Los Angeles and its surrounding areas with talented educators, administrators, counselors, and deaf studies professionals. As one of few people in my family to pursue and graduate from college, this mission resonates deeply with my own values and aspirations, as I firmly believe in the power of education to transform lives and communities. It brings me so much joy to be a part of an institution that is making such a significant and positive impact on our local communities.
Returning to the college feels like I have come home. It's as if I never left. The warmth and camaraderie of the faculty and staff and the shared commitment to educational excellence make each day here a rewarding experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the college's mission, and I look forward to continuing to be a part of this ambitious and impactful community. Working at the Michael D. Eisner College of Education isn't just a job to me; it's a chance to be a part of something greater, and I couldn't be happier to be back!"
