How CARE works with you and an RFP
Although evaluation might be the last thing you're thinking about when proposal writing, it's better if you reach out to CARE earlier in your process. Evaluation is best when it is embedded into the project design, not independently added after its conclusion.
Below we outline our basic process. You can get more details for some Frequently Asked Questions with the link on the left. If you have already submitted a proposal and are looking for additional help, go to the FAQs to see what we can do for you. You can bring us in at several points along the way.

 | Meet with CARE | Contact us to get things started. You will meet with our team to discuss your project, goals, and timelines. We can give you an overview of our services and a first impression of what we recommend for next steps. |
 | What do you need to provide? | Send us an early draft or even an outline of the project focusing on (1) project goals responsive to the RFP and (2) activities you are planning. Also include the RFP and any additional information on the funding opportunity. Please fill out our Project Intake Form to help guide our first conversation. Anything you upload will remain confidential. |
 | What will we provide? | Together, we develop a logic model consistent with your project. CARE then provides you with a plan focusing on (1) evaluation recommendations and options, (2) IRB/IR needs assessment, and (3) your budget. |

 | Submit Proposal | Please add CARE as the project evaluator in CAYUSE. Choose "CARE" as our staff's department. |
