New Subject Matter Program in Foundational Level General Science

We are excited to announce that our partners in the College of Science & Mathematics have obtained approval from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for a new Subject Matter Program in Foundational Level General Science. This program expands the ranks of CSUN's Subject Matter Programs, which include art, English, history, liberal studies, mathematics, music, physical education, and Spanish. Subject Matter Programs prepare pre-credential undergraduates to meet the subject-matter requirement for admission to a teacher-credential program, exempting them from a subject-matter exam and exposing them to both the content and pedagogy of their subject area.
