Dear Campus Community,
We want to advise you that Thursday, June 30, 2022, will be the last day that testing kiosks, provided through Fulgent, will be available on campus.
During this transition away from on-campus PCR testing, the university will continue to ensure students and employees who are symptomatic or have been determined as a close contact by the university have access to free rapid testing, during compensated time for employees.
Each of you may access free test kits through the U.S. Postal Service and various Los Angeles County locations - COVID-19: Testing - Health Services Los Angeles County (lacounty.gov). We encourage you to take advantage of the free test kits from the U.S. Postal Service so you have tests available without the need to travel to a testing location.
Additionally, effective Friday, July 1, 2022, CSUN will transition to providing rapid tests as needed. These kits will be mailed and should arrive in 3-5 business days. Information about accessing these tests follows below.
Students may contact the Klotz Student Health Center at
(818) 677-3666 or shcinfo@csun.edu for testing information.
Employees may access testing information here - COVID-19 Employee Testing | California State University, Northridge (csun.edu).
Updated COVID protocols will be communicated to the campus community and will be available on the Matadors Forward website.
Best wishes,
Mary Beth Walker, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
William Watkins, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students
Colin Donahue, Vice President for Administration and Finance & CFO
