Dear MDECOE and greater community,
Would you like to learn more about building resilience and recovery in relation to stress and trauma due to the COVID pandemic and social unrest? Please join us TUESDAY NOVEMBER 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm when we welcome faculty, staff, students, and the community to a live virtual presentation by Laura van Dernoot Lipsky on Trauma Stewardship. Laura van Dernoot Lipsky is the founder and director of The Trauma Stewardship Institute and author of Trauma Stewardship: An Everyday Guide to Caring for Self While Caring for Others and The Age of Overwhelm. Widely recognized as a pioneer in the field of trauma exposure, she has worked locally, nationally, and internationally for more than three decades. We will learn about how this last year has impacted us and ways to engage in self-care so that can improve our well-being throughout our academic, professional, and personal lives.
