The Ethnic Studies Education Pathways Project (ESEPP) presents “Activists Against Orientalism & War” on Monday, March 7th, 2022 at 7pm (PST), a discussion between two nationally renowned Los Angeles artist activists Tanzila “Taz” Ahmed (she/her) and Álvaro Márquez (they/them). Both Taz and Álvaro will be discussing their artwork and how they redefine identity and politics in relation to immigration, war, empire, and the act of othering through orientalism.
