Welcome to Fall 2024!

We are proud that the Michael D. Eisner College of Education remains one of the largest Colleges of Education in the CSU system, providing to our surrounding communities hundreds of outstanding new professionals in the fields of education, counseling, administration, and Deaf Studies. The Eisner College engages in transformative education and initiatives that put into practice our commitment to social justice, equity, access, and inclusion, and supporting the social-emotional well-being of university, school, and community members. I am grateful to our talented faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners, all instrumental in ensuring the excellence of our educational programs and community-serving centers. Nicholas Novosel Presents at 2024 NACADA Annual Conference

September 19, 2024

Nicholas Novosel III from our Credential Office will be presenting at the 2024 NACADA Annual Conference in October in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The topic will be “The War for K-12 Education - Who's Fighting, Who's Winning and What Can YOU Do to Help Stop It!”, and has been selected by the Education Majors Advising Community to be one of its sponsored sessions. Welcoming Dr. Jamie Alea, Director of the Credential Office

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jamie Alea as the Credential Office Director in the Michael D. Eisner College of Education. Dr. Alea has been the Director of Student Transition Programs since 2022 and prior to that, the Director of the College of Science Advising Center from 2015-2022, both at California State University, San Jose. She previously held the position of Assistant Director of Student Services and Admissions and Credential Analyst at Santa Clara University. Read more
