He is an internationally recognized consultant on issues of diversity and inclusion, cultural competency, and global citizenship. At the March 11 event, he described how K-12 schools and universities embrace diversity as an affirmation of inclusiveness and equity.
Dr. Gay shared his history of partnering with organizations, domestically and abroad, to promote empathy, cultivate cultural competency, and deepen inclusion. He has written for The New York times, The Washington Post and NPR, and is fluent in five languages.
